eastern sierra petroglyphs and startrails

The absolute coolest location in this region in my opinion. A bit of history mixed with a bit of astronomy. I had this one envisioned for a while but this was the first year I was able to pull it off due to not being here solo and not having clouds roll in blocking the stars. The human element sitting on the petroglyphs tells a story of discovery, as these rock patterns date back thousands of years when a culture inhabited the area. It also helped with adding foreground light to the cluster of petroglyphs. A definite top contender for this year.
