Selfie under the stars, Trona Pinnacles

I wanted to make this shot during my trip to Trona a few weeks ago but clouds were too thick to get a shot of the MW. I shot the foreground under moonlight anyway and used a star file from Convict Lake. The MW alignment is directionally correct; however the foreground was shot at 14mm and the sky at 50mm. It’s hard to get a sense of scale from these pinnacles which is why I wanted to stand out there in the middle with my lantern.
