Hot Creek, Mammoth Lakes

Probably the most steam I’ve seen coming up from Hot Creek and definitely the coldest trip out here so far. I was running in place in between exposures to try and stay warm. I shot this one as the first light of the day hit the peaks adding some nice warmth to the shot. Don’t think I’ve seen more snow on the range then this past winter trip. Definitely cool to see. Nikon D750, Nikkor 50mm 1.8, f/8, 1/15 sec, ISO-50
