Smoggy City - sunrise in Los Angeles

This is what LA looks like when we don’t get any rain for a while. So clean you can just take deep breaths and smell that crispness. This was one of the first shots I took when I first started going to Kenneth Hahn to try and capture the city at sunrise with the San Gabriel’s behind it. On this day the whole basin below was covered in thick fog/smog. The only things visible were some of the closer houses/palm trees and the tips of the skyline. The clouds behind looming over the mountains helped white out everything else in the background.
