Here is a different perspective from the Convict Lake boat dock. I lined up the Milky Way in between the boats to catch some of the reflections in the water. This is when the wind was the calmest and it allowed me to capture this 5 shot vertical pano. Haven't seen too many astro shots utilizing the boat dock from Convict lake, and I'm almost liking it better than the standard view.
All shots with the Nikon D750, Nikkor 20mm 1.8, f/2, 15 sec, ISO-6400.
