Here’s one from some epic conditions at Convict Lake from
Saturday. We knew a snow storm was approaching on our way up but we wanted to
stop by here to try and snap some shots of the kids. When we got there winds
were crazy strong so we didn’t even try. Lucky for me tho, there was ice in the
marina. The high winds were blowing snow off the peaks and the low sun was
illuminating it nicely. I took a ton of different comps just finding different
ice patterns and snapping away while freezing my butt off. By the time I
finished, we were engulfed by the storm in a white out so we made our way up to
June Lake where we were staying and watched the snow fall all night. Nikon
