Weekend shoot

Headed out Sat and Sun night with my homie Jeff to go shoot some locations around Los Angeles and San Pedro. On Saturday the weather was a little weird since it sprinkled in the day and the thick clouds hung around and never really opened up.

We were setup for sunset at Elysian Park overlooking Dodger stadium and LA but the sky never lit up so we packed up and headed to the bridge that overlooks the 110 freeway into downtown.

Twilight colors were decent, definitely not the best I've seen but I still got the shot I wanted. It was pretty crowded on the bridge, with lots of other photographers shooting photos and video. The past 2 times I've been here, there was nobody else around. Must be the new hot spot.

On Sunday we made a quick drive over to San Pedro to catch twilight at the harbor. It was about 15 minutes after sunset and the Vincent Thomas Bridge was still not lit. It turned on about 20 after sunset and I was able to snap a few shots getting some reflections in the water before the color faded. Can't really see but I got the light trails from a ship passing by in the back.

We stopped by an overlook on the way home where you are looking at the bridge head on so you can see the car trails. Probably will try and get to this spot in the next few weeks for twilight as well as hit up some spots in Long Beach.
