Another 9/80 Friday at the reserve

Today was my off Friday so I took another trip down to the Bolsa Chica reserve with my 300mm F4. Before I get to that, i'll mention that I woke up to a nice surprise. My downtown LA photo here:

With that shameless plug out of the way, onto some bird pics from today! A few hummingbirds....I love these little guys.....so colorful yet so fast and hard to capture since they rarely sit still: I also got some photos of an Egret catching some fish: Got a pretty good sequence of him catching a decent sized one:

I'll be getting my 1.4x TC soon enough, which will give me more reason to head down to the reserve!
