Fall in Yosemite may be beautiful, but winter in Yosemite is on another level. This is one of those scenes that had so many elements line up; low fog with partially obscured trees poking out, some higher fog partially obscuring half dome, a ton of snow on the granite cliffs, and a nice sunrise burn to boot. This was totally unexpected as there was heavy snow the day prior. Always nice to be treated to this kind of surprise.
