Malibu foggy sunset

A close up of one of the windy roads in Malibu. Normally I like to lengthen my shutter speed to capture the movement of the fog but I wanted to capture a car on this road for scale so I had to speed it up for this shot. The fog took on some cool shapes on the right plus the setting sun provided some great light on both the van and the side of the hill. The white provided great contrasting colors against the green. Had to show the full 2:3 crop here to get the whole curve in view. With the June gloom ending, I’m happy with the fog shots I was able to capture from here this year. May make some spontaneous trips out here throughout the year but I’ll be back next year in full force during the June – July months. Nikon D750, Nikkor 70-200, f/14, ISO-160
